Taibah Alumni Association held its annual reunion for the year 1440 AH,on Thursday 09th of Jumada Al-Akhera 1440 AH – 14th of February 2019; in the attendance of the graduates of Taibah high school and the dignitaries, and intellectuals of Madinah.
The ceremony was presented by Mr. Wael Mahmoud Rafik.
The ceremony began with verses from the holy Qur’an, recited by Ahmad Al-Tohamy.
Then, the Director General of Education in Al Madinah Al Munawwarah, Mr. Nasser Abdullah Al Abdul Karim, delivered his speech.
After that, His Excellency Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Ali, the Chairman of the Association’s Board of Trustees, delivered his speech welcoming the Honorable Audience.
After that, a documentary film the 75 year history of Taibah High School was shown.
Followed by an introductory presentation about Taibah Knowledge Waqf (endowment) which emanated from Taibah Alumni Association, presented by Dr. Adil Ahmed Bushnak, Chairman of the Board of Observers for Endowment.
After that, an introductory presentation about the activities & achievements of the Taibah Alumni Association during sixth and seventh sessions was presented by Mr. Abdul Halim Lal, Chairman of the Association’s Executive Council.
The audience then listened to a poem written and performed by teh poet Maabar Al-Nahari.
Then, Dr. Muhammad Mahmoud Mustafa presented an introductory presentation on the “Medina is better for them” initiative which comes within the framework of a joint cooperation agreement between The Taibah Knowledge Waqf and the Madinah Institute for Leadership and Entrepreneurship.
Then, where His Excellency Dr. Ahmed Muhammad Ali distributed honorary shields to:
his Excellency Mr. Nabil Amin Mulla, from the graduates of Taibah Secondary School, followed by honoring the golden sponsor of the ceremony, “Abdullah Bakr Radwan & Partners Company”, represented by Mr. Sayed Abdullah Bakr Radwan. It was followed by honoring the silver sponsor of the ceremony, “Al Harbi Chocoline Group”, represented by Mr. Hassan Ali Al Harbi. It was followed by honoring all parties involved in organizing the ceremony.
The ceremony concluded by inviting the attendees to a dinner banquet at the Hejaz Railway Station.
