Why was Taibah Knowledge Waqf (Endowment) established?

By the grace of God, in the year of (1437AH), Taibah Knowledge Waqf (endowment) was established and registered at the wish of many Excellencies who studied or graduated from Taibah Secondary School and under the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Al-Madinah Province – Honorary Chairman of Taibah knowledge Waqf.

To provide an innovative educational environment that fosters future pioneers, the founders of this blessed project have paid  careful attention to its design and structure to be a growing and sustainable project, a pioneering model to serve the community, to disseminate the values and morals of the Quran, and to achieve the objectives for which it was founded for.

Board of Nuzzar (Observers)

The Board of Nuzzar represents the top executive authority in the Waqf (endowment)
When establishing this blessed Waqf, the founders were keen to ensure that the members of the Observers Board are renewed every four years, selected by the Board of Trustees members of the Waqf, which includes a selection of Taibah Alumni association Board of Trustees consisting of former ministers, university directors and community leaders who support the Waqf. United by the love of Taibah and serving of the Two Holy Mosques


The foundations of the Waqf Taibah project were based on a modern endowment structure, whether in the ways of endowment investments or its management. The Waqf follows an internal and external governance model, to ensure control and transparency in its work and reports. It is a working mechanism that puts the endowment interest first based on an approved investment strategy by employing the best asset managers while adhering to the independence in choice and selecting the best investing partners from Islamic countries.
